Leonel Alvarez Ceja
I am a philosopher currently in my second year of Ph.D. studies at the Sage School of Philosophy at Cornell University. I completed my B.A. in philosophy at UCLA. My primary research interests include metaphysics (with a focus on causation, existence, fundamentality, mereology, modality, ontology, space, and time), as well as mathematical and philosophical logic.
That said, I am a generalist at heart (interested in just about everything philosophy). I hope my work will help me better understand the basic structure of reality (if there is one), what exists, what does not, and who we are; however, it turns out that reality is a lot harder to figure out than I originally thought.
